About Promptmasters

Promptmasters was conceived during a large group presentaiton on Large Language Models presented to a local chamber of commerce. The audience had a range of backgrounds but many were business owners and managers for whom the notion of LLMs was very new. Many of the questions were about how to use LLMs in a business context, how to get started and how to get the most out of them.

One thing which became apparent was that the majority of the audience were intimidated by this emerging technology. We realized that there was a need for a service which could help businesses to understand and use LLMs in a way that was accessible and easy to understand.

Digging deeper, the growing role of prompt engineers seemed to be underserved compared to other technology disciplines and we wanted to provide a platform for collaboration and education.
